Ukrainians Eugene Petrus and Kristina Masalova found themselves in the same situation when they landed in Fort Kochi, and they decided to adopt the starving stray into their lives. Naming the pooch Chapati for the frail condition in which she was found, the couple has since been travelling the globe with their four-legged friend.
