By Road

The distance between Pune and Sinhagad is 37.4 km and it can be covered in 1 to 1.5 hours. There are 2 routes to reach Sinhagad from Pune. The shorter one includes traveling via NH4. One has to head west towards Shivaji Road from Pune, continue onto Shivaji Road and then drive from Chandrashekhar Govind Aapte Road to Narayan Peth. After that, take Narveer Tanaji Malusare Road/Sinhagad Road, NH4 and Khed Shivapur-Kondanpur Road to Sinhagad Ghat Road in Ghera Sinhagad. Turn left so as to stay on Sinhagad Ghat Road.
