Spooky places have a charm that nobody can deny. Whether or not you have the guts to actually visit these places, you are always intrigued by what it would be like to just be there. India is full of places that are considered to be “haunted”. Regardless of the truth behind the claims of spooky activities at these places, they continue to attract visitors all year round.
One such place is the Bhangarh Fort in Rajasthan. Located in Rajasthan’s Alwar, Bhangarh Fort is a 17th-century structure, most of which is now in ruins. A notice board has been put up here by the Archaeological Survey of India saying nobody is allowed to be in the precincts of the fort at night. The current state of the fort is believed to be the result of a curse by a heartbroken wizard who was adept in black magic.
Despite the haunted stories, Bhangarh is a great place to visit for history buffs. Here are some amazing photos of Bhangarh Fort that show why it is worth your time.
