Delhi springs to life with rehearsals of the magnificent parade to be held on January 26. This is followed by the Prime Minister of India paying homage to fallen soldiers by laying a wreath at Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate. The President then raises the National flag and the National Anthem of India is played after which a 21-gun salute is given.
