Shimla Summer Festival is held to welcome summer in this hauntingly beautiful hill station and it is the best time to visit this place. One of the best tourist destinations in India to spend your summer, Shimla becomes the stage for music and other cultural events during the festival. Shimla summer festival is organized every year by Shimla Administration Officials. The festival attracts national as well as international tourists and this year it will be held from June 11 to June 13. It showcases the rich culture, art and spirit of Himachal Pradesh.

The festival is a fusion of some of the best artists of the country. Musicians, singers and artists from all over the country come together to give you an unforgettable experience. You will get to see some of the most outstanding performances by the artists. The celebration and festivity include flower shows, a fashion show, a dog show, concerts, food stalls, and exhibitions at this festival. The cultural performances include folk dance and song of Himachal Pradesh. Poster making competition, dance competition and photography competition are also held at the festival. Live theatre and family games are also organized. You can also buy amazing handicrafts from the local stalls.
