In what can be called a scene right out of a movie, a huge snake dropped out of the overhead compartment of a plane terrifying passengers. And it was not an ordinary snake but the venomous green viper. The Aeromexico flight took off from Torreon to Mexico City on Sunday but before it landed, the 5-foot-long guest surprised passengers from the lockers right above their heads. Passengers appeared to have jumped out of their seats on spotting the greenish creature which scared the daylights out of them. Mercifully, all passengers were unharmed and the plane landed safe in Mexico City. The workers contained the snake, the flight had a priority landing and the reptile was then dealt with by animal control. Investigations are on to find out how the snake got into the plane in the first place. (ALSO SEE How to book cheap flight tickets) Also Read - Do You Have Celiac Disease? You May Die Prematurely

Later, he also jokingly posted – “I had to catch it with a blanket and obviously we gave it some magazines to read for a while.” Well, all’s well that ends well. While it remains to be known how the snake entered the plane, it was good to see the priority on landing and animal control ready at the airport for the surprise guest.
