Traveling the world is something many of us dream about and some of us even pursue it by quitting our jobs in order to explore the world. However, how many places do we really get to see in a lifetime? 20, 30, 50, may be? Enter Cassandra De Pecol, a 27-year-old American woman who has already traveled to 181 countries since July 2015. And if you thought that’s really commendable, she’s on her way to become the fastest person on earth to visit all 196 countries in the world. She has 15 countries left on her list and 40 days to visit all of them. If like us you are wondering how she managed to afford to travel to so many places at the age of 27? Well, the answer is her travels have been sponsored. She is also doing it for a good cause. Her journey is called Expedition196 and she’s an ambassador for peace on behalf of the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism. Cassandra’s journey started last year with her trip to Palau. She has recorded her journey in photos and videos on her Instagram page and if she visits all the countries, she will break the Guinness World Record for the fastest person to travel to all sovereign states. We showcase some of her travels from her Instagram feed.
