The video met with a lot of flak due to its “highly sexualized” images but was supported by Cook Islands tourism among others as the glamour quotient did help boost tourism in the region. Also, the fact that it is difficult to take your eyes off these amazing models in swimsuits on a beach meant that people were actually paying attention to the safety instructions right till the end. Add to that the magnificent views of white sand beaches and lively events on the Cook islands and what you have is a wonderful virtual tour of this exotic location. Have a look and decide for yourself if such an advertising gimmick works for you!
