One of the best things about living in Mumbai is that it is very close to the beach state of Goa. The train route is indeed very scenic so it is better to book a train that leaves in the morning.



A stretch of winding roads via ghats lead you to one of Maharashtra’s most popular hill station Mahabaleshwar. The hill station is 263 km away and will take you close to five hours to reach from Mumbai.
