Northeast India is one of India’s most beautiful yet unexplored destinations. One major reason behind the low number of tourists visiting this region is the lack of air connectivity to stunning states like Meghalaya, Nagaland and Mizoram. One needs to fly to Guwahati in Assam and then take the road route to visit the spectacular interiors of the northeast. However, this is about to change for the state of Mizoram. SpiceJet has announced flights to Mizoram’s capital city Aizawl from Kolkata and Guwahati. Both these services will be onward connections to and from Delhi. From Delhi, passengers can connect to all major cities in India and around the world.
