Place Details:
The Birla Museum in Bhopal is home to some very old and interesting sculptures. The Siva gallery inside the museum has two 10th century sculptures from Ashapuri – a dancing Ganesh and an Uma-Maheshwari. The Bhimbetka rock shelter displays white-and-red Stone Age paintings.
