Water rafting in Darjeeling: White water rafting is relatively new in Darjeeling but it’s certainly as fun-filled as any other destination. River Teesta and Rangeet gush down the mountains of Darjeeling and create foaming white water that are excellent for rafting. While rafting down, you will get a pretty view of dense forests. For non swimmers, the rafting options are: Melli to 29th Mile (1.5 hours) and Melli to Kalijhora (3 hours). For swimmers, the options are: Tarkhola to Malli (2 hours) and Tarkhola to 29 Mile (3 hours).
