Jaipur is also a shopper's paradise. MI road and Johari bazaar are two of the most popular places to shop at (and also have some of the finest restaurants in the city). Beware, though, of Jaipur's gem scam where touts will trick you into buying gems that they claim you can sell for a profit.
However do consider dropping by at the Gem Palace along the busy Mirza Ismail Road in Jaipur. The oldest jewelry store in India isn't just a place to shop, it also a place to experience what luxury really is!
