Kanha National Park provides around 300 species of birds for the bird watchers. The species of birds include both resident and migratory which are of great interest to the visitors. Kanha national park is home to many migrating birds in the winter season. Eagle, red jungle fowl, common peafowl, beeeaters, the Indian roller, the racquet tailed drongo, the Indian grey hornbill and the Malabar pied hornbill are some of the rarely seen species in India.
