Likir festival is the major attraction of the monastery. It is celebrated every year from the 27th to 29th of twelfth month of Tibetan calendar. Festival starts with votive offering that is also known as Dosmochey and the festival ends with lamas’ cham dances. Cham dance celebrate the victory of good over evil.
