Navi Mumbai is a planned city sandwiched between Thane and Raigad districtsand is located to the north of Mumbai. The town consists of various areas starting from Vashi, Sanpada, Juinagar, Nehrul, Seawoods Darawe, CBD Belapur, Kharghar, Mansarovar, Khandeshwar and ends at Panvel on the harbor line. On the trans-harbor line, Navi Mumbai pans out all the way from Turbhe, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli, Rabale and Airoli.
Though there are not too many places of historic importance in Navi Mumbai, it has definitely emerged with several places to hangout at. From microbreweries, restaurants, pub and clubs, to a golf course and hiking trails among many others.
While Vashi is one of the hubs of the most events and is the closest to Mumbai, CBD Belapur also has several eateries and interesting things to do. Navi Mumbai has grown from being just a planned township, especially in the past few years.
