Situated between Mussoorie (35 km) and Chamba (27 km), Dhanaulti is a hill-station located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. Covered with forests of deodar, rhododendron and oak, the quiet and picturesque hamlet of Dhanaulti is located at an altitude of 2286 metres.
Dhanaulti houses the famous Surkanda Devi temple where Lord Shiva dropped the remains of Goddess Sati. The Eco Parks started by the Uttarakhand Forest Department are also a popular tourist attraction.
