Place Details:
It is situated in the Stod Valley of Zanskar. It belongs to Drukpa order of Buddhism. Like Muni, Zongkul is also accessible only through trek. The 300 year old monastery with two caves founded by the great Indian master Naropa for meditation is famous for murals and thangkas of Drukpa lamas.
