The Kalka Shimla Railway is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is a delight for nature lovers. The toy train ride takes you on a stunning route through green hills. Rides begin as early as 4 am from Kalka with the latest one leaving at 12.30 pm. There are Holiday Special train services too. When the route was constructed, 107 tunnels and 864 bridges were built through the twisty-curvy route. The result is an adventurous ride through an amazing, scenic rail route which is one of the finest in the world.
