A popular tourist attraction in Ujjain and one of the renowned Ganesha temples in the country, the Chintaman Ganesh mandir is located across the Kshipra river, around 8 km from Ujjain in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The name chintaman translates to ‘reliever of stress’ (one of the terms associated with Ganesha) and the temple is therefore visited by a large number of believers.
