WATCH: Traffic Disrupted On Noida Flyover After School Bus Crashes Into Side Railing; None Injured

A private school bus crashed into the railing on an elevated flyover in Noida Sector 20 on Monday. However, the bus was empty, except the driver, and no injuries were reported.

Noida Accident: Vehicular traffic was briefly disrupted on an elevated flyover in Noida after a private school crashed into the railing on Monday morning. According to the police, no injuries were caused in the incident as only the driver was aboard the vehicle at the time of the incident.

An official said the private school bus, driven by Rakesh, crashed on the elevated flyover Noida Sector 20 area while on its way back to the school.  “The bus refuelled at the Gijhod filling station and was headed towards the school when its steering failed on the elevated road, causing the driver to lose control and climb over the railing,” he said.

No one, including the driver of the bus, was injured in the accident, a police spokesperson said.

The spokesperson confirmed that there were no passengers in the bus at the time of the accident, and no injuries were reported. “The bus was empty except for the driver,” said the spokesperson. “No one was hurt.”

He said that traffic was briefly disrupted on the flyover, however, soon a crane was brought in to remove the bus from the elevated road, adding normal flow of traffic was restored on the route shortly without any disruptions to public order.
