Padrauna Election Result LIVE: Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Manish Kumar Alias Mantu has registered victory from Padrauna Assembly seat. The counting of votes for the Padrauna assembly constituency in Uttar Pradesh began at 8 AM on Thursday. The seat was earlier held by former BJP leader Swami Prasad Maurya.

In the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Maurya had fought the election on BJP ticket and had won the constituency. He had defeated  Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) Javed Iqbal with a margin of 40552 votes.
