Two Schools in UP’s Lucknow Closed After 2 Students Test COVID Positive
Those schools include Cathedral Senior Secondary School and Delhi Public School in Indira Nagar.

Lucknow: Two schools in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday closed for two days after two students tested positive for coronavirus. Those schools include Cathedral Senior Secondary School and Delhi Public School in Indira Nagar.

The development comes just days after three schools – two in Ghaziabad and one in Noida – were closed after 18 students across the three institutions tested positive for Covid. Most of these cases (13) were reported by Khaitan School in Noida where three teachers also tested positive.

Of the five other students found positive for Covid, two study at St Francis School and three at KR Mangalam School in Ghaziabad. Both schools had announced three days’ closure (April 11-13) as a precautionary measure to break the chain of infection. However, the online classes continued for both schools.
