World Cup 2023: In an exclusive interview with Akash Chopra he expressed his disappointment about Babar Azam's performance in the 2023 ODI World Cup.
Addressing Babar's performance in pressure situations, Chopra pointed out that the Pakistani skipper is yet to deliver in critical moments. Contrary to Kohli, who has a knack for scoring centuries in high-pressure games, Babar's contributions have not matched up.
Pakistan remained stagnant at the fifth spot with four points from five matches (NRR -0.400) while Afghanistan rose to the sixth spot (4 points, 5 matches, NRR -0.969). Pakistan's remaining matches are against South Africa, Bangladesh, New Zealand and England. South Africa and New Zealand are in top form while England are the defending champions. Their road to semi-finals is now very tough.
