Monkey fever: As the risk of Omicron variant of Coronavirus subsides, a new case of Monkey fever or the Kyasanur Forest Disease has been reported in Wayanad district of Kerala. A 24 year old man from Thirunelly Village near Kalpetta had been showing symptoms like fever and body pain and was shifted to Government Medical college where doctor found him infected with the Monkey virus. However, the doctors later informed that the man is fine and there’s no any monkey virus case found so far. The cases of Monkey virus have been reported earlier as well.
