Bollywood Stars Clap, Bang Utensils to Show Support Towards Janata Curfew | Watch

From Deepika Padukone to Ranveer Singh, Amitabh Bachchan to Hema Malini, Ananya Pandey to Kapil Sharma, B-town stars were in full force to support the Janata Curfew initiative and fight coronavirus.

The Janata Curfew initiated by PM Narendra Modi was a huge success with people staying back home to combat deadly pandemic Covid-19. He also urged people to stand in their balcony or house main doors and clap as a sign of respect for emergency workers who are working despite the pandemic and risking their lives.

Many Bollywood celebrities went to their home balcony to clap, ring bell, bang utensils and to play honche to pay gratitude. From Deepika Padukone to Ranveer Singh, Amitabh Bachchan to Hema Malini, Ananya Pandey to Kapil Sharma, B-town stars were in full force to support the initiative and fight coronavirus.

During the 30 minutes speech, Modi said, “During this curfew, we shall neither leave our homes nor get onto the streets and refrain from roaming about in our societies or areas. Only those associated with emergency and essential services may leave their homes.” PM Narendra Modi has requested to take precautions and not panic. He further asked to avoid unnecessary travels.

As the coronavirus cases in the country crossed 300 with fresh cases being reported from Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, a number of state governments have on Sunday announced to impose complete lockdown in their states as part of the preventive measures.
