Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party released its manifesto on Friday with its focus on the five ‘pillars of justice’. In its manifesto, the party focussed on cash transfers for women, employment opportunities, and caste census. But on Friday BJP dubbed the Congress’ manifesto a “bundle of lies” and alleged that the grand old party which ruled the country for several decades did not fulfill any of the promises made in its earlier manifestos for the assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Infact they claimed that the Indian National Congress (INC) used images of New York and Thailand in its election manifesto for Lok Sabha polls this year.

In a press confrence BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi posed questions on Congress’ seriousness for the upcoming polls. He showed the photo used in the Environment section of the poll manifesto and said that the image was of Thailand.

Talking about the manifesto then The Congress party called it menifesto Nyay Patra, The major points include a constitutional amendment to raise 50 per cent cap on reservations for SCs, STs and OBCs etc, the right to apprenticeship and legal guarantee for MSP.

Where now the The BJP leader said, “They have called the manifesto Nyay Patra after doing injustice to all sections of the country for all these years.”

Trivedi added, “It’s not a big issue that wrong photos have been used. But it is concerning these photos are of foreign entities. Until now, they have been going abroad and defaming India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But now they are borrowing foreign photos for their manifesto.”
