Swati Maliwal, the head of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), made the surprising admission on Saturday that her father had molested her when she was a youngster. “My own father used to sexually assault me when I was little. He used to severely beat me. When he used to come home, I used to get very scared and used to hide under a bed often and used to plan the whole night how I will get women their rights,” she told mediapersons at an event.
