Defence Research & Development Organisation successfully flight-tested Phase-II Ballistic Missile Defence System on July 24. The Target Missile was launched from LC-IV Dhamra from LC-III at ITR, Chandipur fully met all the trial objectives. The test has demonstrated nation’s indigenous capability to defend against the Ballistic Missiles of 5000 km class. State-of-the-art technologies developed by DRDO laboratories have been incorporated in the missile system.
