West Bengal went to Lok Sabha polls in all seven phases and today in the exit poll and surprisingly BJP is likely to win 22 to 26 seats in West Bengal. The TMC may win 14 to 18 seats, and Congress may win 1 to 2 seats left front is expected to win 0.
West Bengal saw a fierce political battle leading up to the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. The BJP aimed to improve its performance after winning 18 seats in 2019, up from just 2 in 2014. The TMC, on the other hand, aimed to win all 42 seats in the state.
In this election, the TMC contested all 42 seats on its own, leaving the Opposition’s I.N.D.I.A bloc. Congress and the Left, part of the I.N.D.I.A bloc, fought together. Mamata Banerjee decided not to join the alliance in the state because seat-sharing talks with Congress did not work out.
On the other Hand, according to Republic PMARQ Exit poll predict a clear majority for the BJP-led NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Even after 10 years in power, the NDA seems to have secured enough seats to comfortably win a third consecutive term under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Out of 48 seats in Maharashtra the exit poll predicts 29 seats for the NDA and 19 seats for the INDI Alliance.
Now according to percentage the BJP led alliance will get 45% votes, India alliance will get 41% votes and others will get 14% votes. Here let me remind you that these are just exit polls not the exact polls
