Gujarat Floods: Gujarat has been witnessing heavy rainfall over the past few days. Amid the heavy downpour, Machhu Dam in Morbi overflowed on July 29. Earlier, incessant rainfall from the previous night created severe waterlogging situation in Gujarat’s Navsari district, an official said on Friday. According to District Collector Amit Prakash Yadav, severe waterlogging was witnessed in Gujarat’s Navsari following continuous rainfall from last night. Additionally, District Collector Yadav declared a holiday for all the schools and colleges in the city in light of the waterlogging situation. Watch video.
