Australia won the toss and chose to bowl first. During India’s batting turn, opener and captain Rohit Sharma played amazingly, scoring 92 runs from just 41 balls with 7 fours and 8 sixes. This helped India reach a total of 205 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. Unfortunately, Virat Kohli got out without scoring for the second time in the tournament. Rishabh Pant made 15 runs from 14 balls, Suryakumar Yadav scored 31 runs from 16 balls, and Shivam Dube contributed 28 runs from 22 balls. Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja remained not out with 27 and 9 runs respectively.
