The border between India and Bangladesh has had many problems, like migration and security issues. But recently, a new and urgent situation has emerged, catching the attention of people locally and around the world.
So, what exactly happened? Lets Find out….

Almost 600 people from Bangladesh were stopped from entering India at a border in West Bengal. The Border Security Force (BSF) stopped them because they have been on high alert since Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was removed and fled the country on Monday.

On Wednesday, August 7, many Bangladeshis tried to enter India before a temporary government took over in Bangladesh. They sought safety from the Border Security Force (BSF) due to fears of political instability.

According to India Today, about 1,000 Bangladeshi Hindus have gathered at the border in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, because of the unstable situation in Bangladesh. However, the BSF has stopped them from crossing into India.

After Sheikh Hasina resigned as Prime Minister, members of her party, the Awami League, and minority groups in Bangladesh experienced intense backlash. Many were forced to go into hiding due to targeted violence, arson, and abductions. The situation improved slightly when the army chief announced a temporary government, which provided some relief.

The attempt by 600 Bangladeshis to enter West Bengal shows ongoing problems with migration and border security. This situation is complicated, involving humanitarian, political, and security issues.
