He proudly embraces being a TV actor and opens up about the big gamble he took by risking a lengthy break from acting post his TV show, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, and choosing to do host in Halla Bol, The Voice, Nach Baliye 8, The Remix to name a few or participate in reality shows till a plum project like Special Ops came along.

Karan Tacker first appeared in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in a short role in 2008. He then got his debut role in television show Love Ne Mila Di Jodi playing the lead role of Sameer which aired on STAR One.
