In response to the rape and murder of a doctor in Kolkata, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the chief ministers of other states with recent cases of rape and sexual abuse resign. She accuses them of not doing enough to protect women.
