A heartbreaking and disturbing case of Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder has sent shockwaves throughout the Nation.
Last week, a 32-year-old trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata was found to have been both raped and killed. The initial report from the post-mortem examination suggests that more than one person may have been involved in this terrible crime, indicating that it might have been a gang rape.
And this discovery has led to increased concern and attention surrounding the case.

According to a report by India Today, a senior doctor mentioned that the injuries on the victim show that more than one person was involved in the attack. Additionally, the amount of liquid found in a vaginal swab suggests that she may have been gang-raped by multiple attackers.

Dr. Subarna Goswami, from the All India Federation of Government Doctors’ Association, explained that the autopsy found 151 grams of liquid in the vaginal swab. This large amount of liquid suggests that the rape was carried out by multiple people, not just one person.
He also said the victim’s family suspects multiple people were involved, as the severe injuries and force used indicate more than one attacker.

The shocking details have led to huge protests in Kolkata where thousands of people have marched through the streets, demanding justice for the victim and quick action against those responsible.
