In a stunning turn of events, today we’re diving into a dramatic development unfolding in Pakistan. But this time, it’s not about policy or international relations, but a deeply personal and critical showdown involving Imran Khan and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Imran Khan, who used to be Pakistan’s prime minister and is now in prison and making waves once again.
On Friday Imran khan stated that he would go on a hunger strike if Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa of the Supreme Court doesn’t handle his cases fairly and give him justice.
And this development has sent shockwaves through Pakistan’s political landscape.

During a media meeting at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Imran Khan, who leads the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party at the age of 71, where he expressed his worries with Chief Justice Isa’s involvement in deciding cases that are related to both him and his political party.

In Adiala Jail, where he is detained, Imran Khan attended court for the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case where he raised concerns about Chief Justice Isa being on panels deciding cases involving his PTI party.
Well its a history of mistrust between Khan and Chief Justice Isa, when Khan was the prime minister and he complained and tried to remove Isa as a judge due to alleged corruption.

Meanwhile during the PTI case he stated that “I am thinking about going on a hunger strike. If I don’t get justice, I will go on a hunger strike,”
Khan also mentioned that former Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed had stated that Justice Isa should not hear PTI cases. He added that PTI’s lawyers believe they won’t receive fair treatment, so they want someone else to hear their cases.
