Pakistan is getting ready to host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit and has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with other world leaders to the event. The SCO summit, where top leaders will meet in person, is set to take place in Islamabad in October this year.

Islamabad will host the SCO meeting on October 15-16. Pakistan is currently in charge of this meeting, which is the second most important group decision-making body in the SCO, after the top-level Council of Heads of State.
