Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Kyiv. He hugged the Ukrainian Prime Minister on meeting him, following which they honored the memory of children at the Martyrologist Exposition in Kyiv.
Notably, this is an Indian Prime Minister’s first visit to Ukraine since the country got independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.
