First let’s let’s talk about what is this agreement So the India Russia logistics pact is an agreement drafted between India and Russia. This agreement allows the militaries of India and Russia to use each other’s facilities for resupplying and refueling during joint exercises, port visits, and other agreed activities.
According to Russian media, Russia’s Prime Minister has asked the Ministry of Defence to start talks with India to finalize the logistics pact. If agreed upon, the pact will last for five years and will automatically renew unless either country chooses to end it.
This proposed logistics pact continues the long-standing military relationship between Russia and India. Infact In 2021, they signed a comprehensive agreement on military-technical cooperation that lasts until 2030.
