In a move that has escalated tensions between the United States and Russia
President Biden has approved the transfer of advanced weaponry to Ukraine and allowing them to strike Russian targets.
This decision was made because Ukraine is still dealing with Russian aggression.
France and other European countries also signaled they’d let Ukraine use their weapons against military targets in Russia.

Biden made it easier for Ukraine to use American weapons in Russian territory and this change is meant to help Ukraine protect its northeastern Kharkiv region from potential attacks.
According to the Reuters, US officials said Ukraine can use the weapons near the Kharkiv region and this area faced a new Russian attack recently.

Earlier, Russia has taken control of several villages there since May 10 and leading to the evacuation of thousands of people.
While in this ongoing conflict, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that if Ukraine’s Western allies relax their policies, there will be “serious consequences” and emphasized Russia’s nuclear power.

Meanwhile, Kartapolovis who is a former army officer of the Russian Army said Biden’s decision to permit some missile strikes inside Russia using US weapons won’t change Russia’s military actions in Ukraine.
