The Indian cricket team that won the T20 World Cup arrived in Delhi on Thursday morning after their victory in Barbados.
India’s captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain Hardik Pandya, and star batter Suryakumar Yadav celebrated with the T20 World Cup trophy at the ITC Maurya Hotel in New Delhi on Thursday. They had been waiting for five days since defeating South Africa in the final match at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. The Indian cricket team, now world champions, received a warm welcome upon returning home.
