On Friday, a fight broke out in Turkey’s Parliament over the case of jailed opposition deputy Can Atalay. It started when MP Ahmet Şık called the ruling majority “terrorists,” and AKP member Alpay Özalan pushed him to the ground. Şık was then punched several times, which led to injuries and the suspension of the hearing.
