The possibility of a world war is always a concern in global politics, especially during periods of heightened tensions between major powers.

And today Ukraine prime minister gave this doubt a new prespective he warned that there will be a “Third World War” if Ukraine loses its conflict with Russia with this he urged the US Congress to pass a long-stalled foreign aid bill.

PM expressed “careful optimism” that the US lawmakers would pass the measure that has $61 billion earmarked for Ukraine.

He said, We need this money yesterday, not tomorrow, not today. If we will not protect… Ukraine will fall, So the global, the global system of security will be destroyed… and all the world will need to find… a new system of security. Or, there will be many conflicts, many such kinds of wars, and in the end of the day, it could lead to the Third World War.

Earlier, Ukraine has voiced similar alarming warnings about the possible consequences its defeat in the battle with Russia will bring. Just last year, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had warned that after Ukraine, Russia would move on to invade Poland, triggering World War Three.

Well this is much needed help for Ukraine. The US House of Representatives will vote on the aid package on Saturday. It also includes billions in funding for Israel as well as Taiwan.

With much-needed assistance, Ukraine could gain the upper hand in its battle against Russian invaders.

The United States President, Joe Biden, has urged Congress to pass a package allocating funds to various countries for assistance. The proposed bill includes $61 billion for Ukraine to aid in its battle against Russian invaders, over $26 billion for Israel amid conflicts with Hamas militants in Gaza and Iran, and $9.2 billion in humanitarian aid for Gaza, as stipulated by Democrats. Additionally, the bill allocates $8 billion in aid to self-ruled Taiwan.

While challenges remain, there is hope that through dialogue, diplomacy, and cooperation, we can steer away from the path of conflict and towards a more peaceful and prosperous future for all.
