American voters think Vice President Kamala Harris won Tuesday’s presidential debate against Donald Trump, according to a CNN poll. The poll showed that 63% of debate watchers felt Harris outperformed Trump, while only 37% felt Trump did better. Before the debate, polls had shown the race was very close. However, after the debate, 96% of Harris supporters felt she did a better job, compared to 69% of Trump supporters who felt their candidate did better.
