Former President Donald Trump, representing the Republican Party, and President Joe Biden, running for reelection as a Democrat, have emerged as front-runners in their respective parties.
In the primary elections held across various states, both candidates have notched key victories, solidifying their positions as leading contenders.
Both of them are expected to win primaries in Arizona too which is going to be held today. This will help them to cater more support after becoming respective parties nominees.

By keeping an eye on November polls,Trump and Biden both are concentrating on the general elections and directing their campaigns in states rather than just focusing on primaries.
Two states Nevada and Arizona were amongst the closest in the last election and hold great importance for both campaigns. Biden will be visiting these states too. On the other hand, Trump rallied in Ohio, which has been in favour for Republicans for many years in the US presidential elections.
With Joe Biden securing wins in several key states, including California and New York, and Donald Trump rallying strong support in traditional Republican strongholds like Texas and Florida, both candidates are gearing up for what promises to be a fiercely contested general election.
Trump and Biden are running on their records in office and casting the other as a threat to America. Trump portrays the 81-year-old Biden as mentally unfit. The president has described his Republican rival as a threat to democracy after his attempt to overturn the 2020 election results and his praise of foreign strongmen.
