Actor Varun Badola is one of the most loved names on TV but what stopped him from becoming equally popular in Bollywood? The actor did many popular shows including Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Astitva… Ek Prem Kahani, Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein, Koshish-Ek Aashaa, Phir Subah Hogi, and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan among others, and now he has worked in a teleplay called ‘Wrong Turn’ which is streaming on Zee theatre.

Here, in an exclusive interview with india.com, Varun talks about the play, his long journey on the small screen, how he ‘crossed the boundaries of romance’ with his shows, and why he’s at peace in life currently. The actor, who recently lost his father, actor Vishwa Mohan Badola, also opens up on how he shared a lovely father-son bond with him which never included conversations about success, work, fandom, or anything materialistic.
