Andy Byron, the CEO of the company Astronomer, recently resigned from his position. This came just days after he was spotted at a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Boston, enjoying the show with the company’s HR head, Kristin Cabot. Cabot and Andy Byron were caught during a “kiss cam” segment at the concert. The two were seen with their arms around each other when Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, pointed them out, saying, “Oh, look at these two.” As the camera stayed on them, Byron quickly stepped back and hid behind a barrier, while Cabot covered her face with her hands, clearly feeling embarrassed.

Kristin is married to Andrew Cabot, who comes from an extremely wealthy and historic American family. Andrew is the sixth-generation heir to Privateer Rum, a well-known rum company. Reports said that Andrew Cabot is a descendant of the original Andrew Cabot, who was an 18th-century rum distiller, as per the details mentioned on his company’s website. He is also a descendant of the “Boston Brahmins”, a group of elite Anglo-American families that have held social and financial power in New England for over 200 years.
Property records show that earlier this year, Andrew bought a luxury home along the New Hampshire coastline for about USD 2.2 million (roughly Rs. 18 crore). According to LinkedIn, he had been a member of the advisory board of Privateer Rum since September 2020, though his profile now appears to have been removed.
