Actor Rahul Roy who gained immense fame in his debut film Aashiqui joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today in the presence of Union Minister Vijay Goel. Rahul Roy who has been missing from the Bollywood circuit for quite some time now resurfaced again today and joined the ruling party at its headquarters today. Rahul Roy, along with Anu Agarwal gained instant popularity and fame when he starred in the musical Aashiqui. The movie’s songs are still a rage today and have spawned a franchise as well. Rahul Roy said that it was a significant day for him and thanked the party for including him in its ranks.
