A trailer of the film was released way back in February 2014. The movie was then titled Sattendru Maarudhu Vaannilai. The film underwent a lot of changes and from Marathi actress Pallavi Subhash, it is now the latest sensation from Malayalam movies, Manjima Mohan who is Simbu’s lead pair. Dan McArthur, who had worked with Gautham in his previous flick Yennai Arindhaal is the cameraman. The first look has Simbu playing carom with a group of his friends and talking about a new girl in his life and how he feels about her. There is a cheeky reference to Vinaithandi there as well.
